Each piece carries 5.7 mg of nano-hydroxyapatite, the same mineral family your enamel is built from. Hydroxyapatite has been studied at the ingredient level in Japan since 1980.
Why put it in a gum at all? Contact time. Toothpaste is in your mouth for about two minutes. A piece of gum is chewed for twenty or more, and chewing drives saliva flow, which is what moves minerals onto the tooth surface. The gum sits alongside fluoride brushing, it does not replace it.
